Salt Painting

Salt painting was so much fun and the results were beautiful! Mercedes and I both had a blast.

Supplies: Salt
                glue
                paper
                food coloring
                water
                paintbrush

Instructions: paint, spread or squeeze glue onto a piece of paper. Sprinkle salt onto wet glue and shake off any extra salt from paper. We did this on a cookie sheet to avoid extra clean up. Mix food coloring and water and paint the salt with it. You don't have to wait for the glue to dry before painting. Once salt is painted, set aside to dry. This takes an hour or two but it's fun to watch as the salt crystallizes and the colors turn bright.
